I just caught a message in the OzTeX-Mailinglist about a new TeX workbench on the Mac, that is, on MacOS X. It looks like we could take it as base for ConTeXt on MacOS X. \startquotation TeXShop is a TeX previewer for Mac OS X, written in Cocoa. Since pdf is a native file format on OS X, TeXShop uses "pdftex" and "pdflatex" rather than "tex" and "latex" to typeset; these programs in the standard teTeX distribution of TeX produce pdf output instead of dvi output. TeXShop uses teTeX, the standard distribution of Tex programs for Unix machines. The distribution includes tex, latex, dvips, tex fonts, cyrillic fonts, and so forth. The teTeX distribution is available below. You can experiment with TeXShop without installing teTeX by using the file named "example.tex" provided with TeXShop because it has already been typeset. Version 1.0 is the seventh release of TeXShop. The program is distributed under the GPL public license, and thus free. \stopquotation http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/texshop.html -- Grüßlis vom Hraban! --- http://angerweit.tikon.ch/ http://www.drucktechniker2001.de/ http://www.planet-interkom.de/fiee.visuelle/formelsammlung.html
