files not found

files not found

Dear ConTeXtuals,

I just found I had nothing to do, so I tried and installed a new version
of ConTeXt from the pragma-ade.com site. When running texexec --make on 
the newly unzipped gems, the procedure missed three files named 

regi-ini.tex
page-lyr.tex
xtag-ext.tex

Could anyone help me how I can find them?

Did you run mktexlsr? This is really needed (also in coming betas where
there will be many page-* and font-* additions / changes).

AAARGH! Sorry!

Hm ... run texhash and re-did "texexec --make", but this time it said

! pdfetex.pool doesn't match; tangle me again (or fix the path).
fmtutil: `pdfetex -ini -efmt=cont-en -progname=context cont-en.ini' failed.

What is going on now?

pdfeTeX (Web2C 7.3.3.1) 3.14159-0.14h-pretest-20010126-2.1, by the way.

  kpsewhich pdfetex.pool  

should give you the web2c path where pdfetex tries to find the pool file
[where it stores its program related strings].   

Did you update the binaries? If so, move the associated pool file [should
be in the pdfetex zip] to the web2c path where it is expected.
