Ahoi!
I normally use \type for filenames, and at least for Windows you need some
backslashes for paths and generally some underbars. They even work ok without
escaping -- but only in normal text, not in heads or tabulations.
What must I do to get such working:
\section{Do we need \type{c:\more_docs.txt}?}
?

{\tt c:\string\more_docs.txt}

That works only if I write "\string" in front of every backslah or underline.
I tried to define e.g. \def\BSL{\string\ }
But what must I do to avoid the space after the backslash? (The brace mustn't
follow directly after the backslash, and a following \relax gets printed.)
