Hi,
I have a HTML page (XMLified using `tidy --asxml`) which contains

well I get this result:

I don't understand why I get the ¿ (spanish opening quesionmark)
Second question:
How do I ignore tags? I have a <script>-Tag which I want to ignore. I'm
almost certain I've asked this question before, but I cannot find it
anymore.
Third: Has anyone a rather complete set of the Entities for HTML4?

CMR fonts have a ¿ in the place occupied by > in the ASCII
encoding. (i.e. if you type > in a plain TeX file in non-math mode
you get a ¿). Sounds like a mapping bug.

Look at the TR for HTML 4.01:
http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/
go to section 7 --> subsection 7.2
and find 3 links to files with entity definitions
