T1 it is called in LaTeX. In ConTeXt it is ec (encoding=ec)

How is HoeflerText defined?

Send a listing of the T1 font file names, their characteristics
(regular,bold,italic,slanted,...,osf,SmallCaps,...) and where
(bodyfont,footnotes,captions) they should be used.
Then we can discuss the set-up.
