Hi,
I have just uploaded an install script for ConTeXt distributions. It
searches a kpathsea TeX installation to find out which languages to
install, where to put the formats etc. It does what I want, and if it
also does what you want, it installs a new ConTeXt distribution for
you in five minutes. You can find it here:
