Subject: Aligning things within tables

I am trying to typeset tables using natural tables and XML.

In the head of the table I want the text typeset flush left, but in the
table itself I want the figures aligned on the commas. Can this be done?
I see I can set the alignment for each column, but can I have different
alignments for each row?
