It seems that either my ConTeXt installation is bugged or some bug
sneaked in some late ConTeXt releases. The background graphics on each
page are not recalculated as they should be, but only the first one is
taken and set for speciffic layer. Following short example should make
it visible:

  % output=pdftex
  \usemodule[pre-03]

  \starttext
    \TitlePage{How nice}
    \Topics{This is about ...}
    \Topic{The first one}
    \Topic{Another one}
  \stoptext

It's been taken from s-pre-03.tex example code and doesn't work for me
with latest beta and release version as well. The darker part of
background ellipsis should be moving towards the endpoint on
consecutive pages. It doesn't. Any thoughts?

this has recently been solved (had to do with page attributes not being set
for individual graphics, i.e immediate vs intermediate mp runs)

I assume it's not solved in the latest beta (it's still 2003.4.29),
which I was testing for this bug. Right?
