Hi all,
I have adapted the colour palettes suggested in
http://www.colorbrewer.org for ConTeXt, see
http://www.panix.com/~derwisch/hannes/tex/brewercomp.pdf and
http://www.panix.com/~derwisch/hannes/tex/colo-brw.tex.
As can be seen from the document, I still have font def
problems. Without the redefinition of the monospace font,
I keep getting a "Font ectt1000 at size 645 not found".

Do you have a line like
ectt1000 SFTT1000 "T1Encoding ReEncodeFont" <cm-super-t1.enc <sftt1000.pfb
in your pdftex.map?

Oops, sorry, this error message pdftex normally gives if the font file (sftt1000.pfb)
is not found. You can check this by moving the file in the same directory where you
run pdftex.
