Hi there,
For those of you who are interested, Hans has released a new ConTeXt last
week, and I've created a release notes pages for it here:
http://contextgarden.net/Context_2004.11.23
Highlights:
* The XML interface description files for texshow have been updated,
extended and moved to a private directory.
* New support for the Vietnamese langauge and Vietnamese (t5) encoded
fonts.
* Extended support for the XeTeX executable (largely contributed by Adam
Lindsay)
* Support for the commercial font families Sabon (Monotype), Industria
(Linotype) and Stone (ITC).
* FoXeT improvements
* a series of minor bugfixes and extensions, follow the link for those.
Greetings, Taco

Nice.

Indeed, that can't be right. Perhaps:
\let\XETEX \XeTeX
?

Now that Gerben Wierda has updated the Mac installer to support this
version, everything should be in place for Mac users to try this release.
There's a chunk of documentation in place on the wiki:

(normally one cna generate the files locally; i'll add them to the distribution)
see attachedment; support for tex/etex/pdftex/omega primitives as well as
context commands
you should put the files in your local jedit modes path (watch out for
overwriting the catalog)
if you have figured out how to comfortably run tex (see scite files for calls)
we can add that as well
patrick: how about some editor specific threads in the wiki (scite, jedit, ...)
(maybe they're already there);
it's no problem to generate specific command lists for other editors
Hans

Hello,
In http://contextgarden.net/Context_2004.12.06 :
ctxtools.rb: no understands a new option, --jeditinterface (generates syntax
descriptions for 'jedit')
Great news for a jedit user. How could I use it ?
Thanks,
Seb

this extension is downward compatible; i added the --pattern option because on
unix wildcards in type-*.dat runs can give funny side effects because they may
get expanded at the shell level (depending on place and time)

week, and I've created a release notes pages for it here:
http://contextgarden.net/Context_2004.12.06
Highlights:
* texfont.pl is now version 2.2.1. From now on, it uses internal filename
globbing (using a new switch: --pattern=<wildcard>) instead of the shell
wildcard expansion.
Obviously, this means that the commandline has changed.
* most other changes are bugfixes, follow the link for those.
Greetings, Taco
