Another hint:
I tried to cut off some less common (from my point of view) glyphs from
dejavusanscondensed font using fontforge.
After that slimming, everything seems to work.
Result: at some circumstances, some glyphs in some fonts may cause
crash of luatex.
If anyone interested, here is the reduced font:
