I have on a page first a figuretext then a columns environment. =20 When I look at the pdf I see clearly (the grid is on) that there are still = 13=20 void lines between the end of the columns and the end of the text area=20 but I can't put anything there and it works as if there were a \page[yes]=20 (which is NOT there, definitely).
