It's straightforward to revert changes on the wiki (choose Undo in the page history), on texshow you need to edit the text manually. Both attacks seem to be unrelated: the one on the wiki comes from IP 62.99.163.242, apparently in Austria, and was unique; texshow, on the other hand, seems to have been abused repeatedly, from many different origins around the world.
