I couldn't get the addff/subff stuff working to remove the font feature, but
the following did the trick:
\definefontfeature[default][default][onum=yes]
\definefontfeature[normalnum][default][onum=no]
And in the text use: {\definedfont[Serif*normalnum]0 to 7}
