The tracker instantly revealed a really nasty flaw in the German standard transcription for Greek: =E2=80=9C=CF=85=E2=80=9D is normal= ly converted to Latin =E2=80=9Cy=E2=80=9D, but is retained as Latin =E2=80=9Cu= =E2=80=9D in diphthongs like =E2=80=9C=CE=B5=CF=85=E2=80=9D and =E2=80=9C=CE=B7=CF=85=E2= =80=9D. So with the sorting definition I posted I get amongst the results: sorters > Kapaneys > Kapaneus because all =E2=80=9C=CF=85=E2=80=9D are lazily mapped to =E2=80=9Cy=E2=80= =9D. Thus, for those occasional three words per book, determining the sorting position by hand (e.g. =E2=80=9C\index[Kapaneus]{=CE=9A=CE=B1=CF=80=CE=B1=CE=BD=CE= =B5=CF=8D=CF=82}=E2=80=9D) might be less prone to error.
