Subject: tex.toks & cld -- something weird
Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2010 15:44:46 +0200 [thread overview]

Hi all,
while playing with the new extended cld stuff I encountered
this:
----8<-----------------------------------------------------------
context.starttext()
context("\\toks0 = {Something}")
context("\\the\\toks0") -- works
--context(tex.toks[0]) -- fails
print("·································································")
print(tex.toks[0]) -- ‘The key mentioned above can't be used in a’
print("·································································")
context.stoptext()
----8<-----------------------------------------------------------
After setting ‘\toks0’ it cannot be accessed through ‘tex.toks’.
Now, what’s so peculiar about this is that ‘tex.toks[0]’ carries
a string from -- ‘thrd-tab.tex’‽
Any explanation? Did I miss something important? Thanks for any
help,
Philipp
