Subject: Main or Overall Index of a series of volumes
Date: Sat, 20 Sep 2014 15:02:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20140920130238.GA8163@nan> (raw)

Hello All,

just to plan in advance:

I'd like to construct a main or overall index out of the indices of a series of rather
big volumes with their own page numbering from 1 to (say) 1000. Of course the intended main
or overall index should point not only to a page number, but to the corresponding volume
number or title too.

Is that fundamentally possible and if yes how?

Greetings, Rudolf
