Hi, I think I saw in the plan of the ConTeXt meeting something about
documentation. Was anything cleared there? Is there a plan to document
ConTeXt? At least the basics, updating old manuals and adding the most
important “features” or changes.

Cheers.
Manuel

We discussed this at the last ConTeXt meeting. A task force was
assigned and we have distributed responsibilities for producing
different parts.

We decided that it was realistic and obtainable to produce a series of
small books on the lines of the MetaFun, fonts, and layouts manuals:

http://www.h2o-books.com/catalog/5

With new titles being written, these will all become parts of the
Official, ConTeXt Documentation Series. Note that the sales of the
printed books on h20-books.com is used entirely to offset some of the
costs of maintaining the contextgarden, a valuable tool indeed.
