Getting the pagenumber in oldstyle proved much simpler than I suspected.
It's not necessary to use a command to switch to another font with
"before" and "after" functions in the pagenumber definition. It's simple:
\stelnummeringin[plaats={voet,midden},letter=\oldstyle]
