Aside from the fact that one often wants to format subtitles differently than titles, generally speaking headers that include titles should not also include subtitles (and there is what I consider a bug with long titles such that they run into the header on the other side, rather than breaking into two lines) Epigraphs. Peter Wilson's epigraph LaTeX style is a good model, but it would work something like \epigraph[attribution]{epigraph text}. Bruce
