There's one thing that goes beyond my minimal understanding: for internal references, the guidelines strongly suggest defining them with the xml:id attribute. Let's take the example of a textual witness, which could be defined as manuscript A Whenever this witness is referenced, it will be done with a target: Hello How can I catch such targets in my ConTeXt setup? Would it be possible to have the #A translated into a macro \WIT:A or something like that? Would it be possible to have ConTeXt read in the value of the tag to which the taget refers and typset that? There must be something easier than a huge set of nested \doifelse calls, but I can't quite find what would be the best way. I hope this question isn't too confusing... Thanks, and best Thomas ___________________________________________________________________________________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________________
