Hans,
I've updated to the latest beta but my problem with texexec has not changed.
C:\>texexec --version
TeXExec 3.3 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2003
total run time : 1 seconds
F:\>
It is still changing the partition.
My path statement again:
F:\>path
PATH=F:\NLIB;F:\MIKTEX\MIKTEX\BIN;C:\GS\GS7.04\BIN;C:\GS\GS7.04\LIB;F:\MIKTE
X\CO
NTEXT\PERLTK;C:\PERL\BIN;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\YANDY\Y
ANDY
TEX\;E:\MATLAB6P1\BIN\WIN32;C:\EMACS\BIN;;C:\GHOSTGUM\GSVIEW\;;F:\MSYS\1.0\M
INGW
\BIN;F:\IMAGINE\BIN;;E:\J2SDK1.4.0_02\BIN;E:\MATLAB6P5\BIN\WIN32;F:\SSHSEC~1
One further interesting note is this: If I change to the C: drive with C:,
then run texexec --make --alone, the format files are made on the F
partition, then when finished, my prompt indicates I am on the F partition.
The I have to move the format files manually from F:\ to the proper place
in localtexmf.
