Hi all,

The latest pdftex beta has a nasty bug in \pdfobj which makes thsiu
versions of pdftex incompatible with packages that use this primitive! So,
if you use widgets and alike, you'd better use an old version. Since the
previous beta (17) als has a bug in \pdfobj, better revert to an even older
one (maybe even 14d), since Thanh is not available to sort it out.

There are few other problems, but these are less important.

Hans

there is a switcj but it would spoil the use of modules,

you can use flushleft and flushright as alternatives

Hello Dirar,

> Could anyone answer my second question which is :

> Is there any place to report bugs ..

Tobias (it was Tobias, wasn't it?) once setup a bugzilla site for
ConTeXt. But I guess it was never really used. And no ther are no
places besides the mailinglist to report bugs.

> and are there release notes for new context versions ?

Taco does an excellent job on this: goto
http://contextgarden.net/Release_Notes and see what is there. (And
many many thanks to Taco for this!)

You're a mathematician, aren't you :-))))) Have a look at
http://contextgarden.net/, great material is there.

And this is documented in http://contextgarden.net/Right_and_left,
nevertheless, you're right, it isn't an FAQ :-)

all ConTeXt FAQs is something trivially true, given the number of
ConTeXt FAQs in existence. :-))

yes, historic reasons: raggedright = right

you can use flushleft flushright if you like them more

Sure. Think of it as ragged-right and ragged-left. This is one of the
first questions in all ConTeXt FAQs, it has deep historical reasons, and
it constantly confuses beginners :-)

Hi,

Is there a special place to report bugs ?

I have noticed that align=right aligns text on the left edge of a frame
where it should align left as it says (and left aligns right).

Is this normal ?
