Dear Mr. Hagen,
is there a bug in \definereferenceformat, or is it a feature?
I defined
\definereferenceformat [ineq] [left=(,right=),text=]
It works perfectly, but in one situation. If the reference is at the
beginning
of a paragraph. Then there is no intendation. If I use \indentation
before it,
the double indentation appears there.
I use the last stable version of ConTeXt.
Many thanks for your advices (and even more for developping ConTeXt).

Can you make me a minimal test file? I may need to add a \donltleavehmode
or so [there is no way in tex to determineif it has inserted some of its
automatic thingies, the same for parskips]
A temp hack may be:
\indentation \strut \ineq some text
