Hi,

i have set MPXCOMMAND = 0, no effect.

What is the latest supp-mps?   Mine is version=1997.07.05

What would be the natural way to generate mpgraph.1?
If I run cont-en mprun.tex, should the mpgraph.1 automatically 
be genereated?

When I run cont-en test.tex with a simple mpost picture (from 
metafun manual), mpgraph.1 is written on the disk.

I need mpost, mpto and what else? dvitomp?

And: every program is in the path :-)

mine too -) but the content has be extended since then. i think your
version is ok (but i'll send you mine)

the original def is in mpgraph.mp

  texexec --mptex mpgraph.mp 

processes such a figure. What happens if you run this on an mp file with
some btex in it?

indeed you need dvitomp

it would be more easy if we could hook into your machine -)
