Hello,
while studying supp-lan I discovered I made an awfull error,
a wrong assumption, about the meaning of sentence and subsentence;
I *thought* that it referred to speech ---what characters say
in a novel---, while it referred to (guess!)
subsentences ---like this one----, and thus made wrong definitions
about Italian. This also refers to what I had written quite some
time ago, about the need to replicate the "start-of-speech" at
each new paragraph. So:

1) I will revert leftsentence & company to the correct ones
for Italian;
2) what are the commands to set the per-language spacing
after the left(sub)sentence and before the right(sub)sentence
mark? Is it possible to make this spacing non-breakable?
2) I need support for leftspeech, rightspeech, leftsubspeech,
righsubspeech and appropriate typesetting options (like
automatically repeating leftspeech at each new paragraph
in Italian) in the kernel (since it looks that all the
|| special chars are taken, speech could maybe be signaled
by |<<| and |>>| ... ). What about it?

We can pick up this tread when the encoding works well, since then we can
map 'm onto nice names. Remind me to do that
