'chemie' is mapped onto 'chemic' (see cont-fil.tex) > \usemodules[chemic] > system : no macros found in chemic Looks like ppchtex and m-chemic are not in your search path. Both are in 'cont-mod.zip'. You can test this by putting both files in your current dir. It just does work here.
