You should first generate a ftm file. Can you search for that in the
miktex manuals?
Just like plain.fmt and latex.fmt, you should make a context.fmt,
probably doing something like:
tex --ini cont-nl % dutch version
or
miktex -ini cont-nl
Then you can run context by
tex &cont-nl
or something alike.
Just start searching for 'generating formats' in the manuals.
You need a rather large memory setup, so also search for 'memory'.
(When you manage to find out, we make a nice description.)

Vergeet niet TeXUtil en zonodig ConTeXt nog eens te runnen.

Okay, so far so good I presume; what should be done next?
Please keep in mind that I more or less used to LaTeX; will I still be
albe to Latex <filename> by including context.sty (something like this) or
is a different approach necessary?
Can someone send me a relatively simple context file so I can quickly test
if everything is processed as it should?
Thanks!
Erik
PS what is meant by: "Vergeet niet TeXUtil en ..." nog eens te runnen?

Hi,
due to a coincidence, I became aware of the existence of ppchtex. It can
be easily implemented in Latex2e as follows:
\documentclass[a4paper,12pt]{article}
\usepackage{m-chemie}
\begin{document}
...
\end{document}
Details on the syntax are explained in document ppch-ned.pdf (in dutch).
However,
I got also interested very much in the context package. The
context pdf manual looks so overwelming that I would like to try it out
immediately. With this mail, I hope to get the necessary information on
how to extend the existing MikTeX installation with CONTEXT.
As I understand from the manual, one has to process files with:
context <filename>
Can you provide the necessary information/files to have this working?
Thank you very much!
Erik Cuynen
PS I already downloaded con-tex.zip but a file contex.exe seems missing;
unless I do something wrong?
