Breedte van kolommen in tabel beinvloeden

Hallo Hans,

Hoe beinvloedt ik de breedte van een kolom in een tabel? Ik wil bijv. wat
extra witruimte tussen twee kolommen.

P.S. Loont het nog om de TABLE handleiding te kopen? Ik dacht dat je van
plan was table te herschrijven.

In the last maps there is an article on the new tabulate environment
(the one with auto width calculation). Beter suited for in-text tables.

The official table manual is rather expensive. Gilbert has plans for
rewriting it. You don't need it to know more about spacing. Try:  

[|c|i2c|]

i,j,k -> left right both, the digit is a multiplier (unit can be set up
globally) 

The big manual shows some examples.

Yepp, the TaBlE manual is a nice product, but rather expensive, I paid $89
for it. It is a *very* thin manual, but everything is covered. I planned a
rewrite of the table manual for CONTeXt, but at the moment I am rather busy
(seems to be a TeX-ies disease).

If you know a bit of TeX, the Table source is reasonably readable, in fact
you will notice that CONTeXt uses several constructs similar to the ones
found in the Table source.

There is an excellent article in the latest maps written by Hans. Check it
out.

I don't think Hans will rewrite Table, it is a decent macro-package.
Probably some add-ons will be made by Hans (as he already did that).
