Actually in that document the inclusion concerns a movie, used as overlay in a flowchartcell, which itself is drawn by metapost runtime, and converted to pdf by tex. A rather nice chain of actions. > 3. Could you give me a hint on how you made the little windmill movie? What > software do you make movies with? I first made an animated gif out of gifs produced from the mp epses, using adobe photoshop. The animated gif can be made by convert, althouhj I used a free MS program which location I've forgotten but which works ok. Then I asked a friend to convert that gif to a mov using adobe premiere (maybe some day I will buy that program). > 4. Could you zip a little context source file that shows how to put a movie > in a context file? Well, the shortest file I can think of is: \starttext \setupoutput[pdftex] \externalfigure[somekind.mov] \stoptext You can turn on a preview with: \externalfigure[somekind][preview=yes] and activate a loop by [repeat=yes] (You can test this with the movie as included in the 1999-003.zip) Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
