What you want is something \VS What you can currently do is: \definetabulate[HowNice][... the template ...] \startHowNice your table \stopHowNice \StartHowNice your table \StopHowNice (see core-01c.tex for an example, even using \\ as separator is possible) Concerning struts: ******* say \showstruts and you will see where they show up/ ******* say \showframe and you will see the layout ******* say \showmakeup and you will get crazy (and learn a bit of low level tex) There are some more shows deep down there.
