Hi all,

I added a few pointers to binaries at the pdftex page at our site.
Please report any problems with them. I still need to add a mac pointer.
The archives are called pdftex-<platform>.zip. Updating to 14b makes
sense especially when one uses graphics. PDF inclusion has become pretty
robust and very fast.

The page is: http://www.pragma-ade.nl/pdftex.htm

Remarks:
Using my provider's FTP PROXY and Netscape, no connection is possible
(time-out),
  ftp://ftp.muni.cz/pub/tex/local/cstug/thanh/pdftex/
whereas:
  http://www.fi.muni.cz/~thanh/download/
works fine.
Using Linux' `ftp` (w/o proxy) I can use the ftp server.

On both sites, which are equivalent btw, there is no win32 file, but an irix and
a solaris file.
Maybe you should include it as well, or maybe it is better to link only to the
two directories.

For PDFTeX/Win32: Maybe a link to: ftp://ftp.ese-metz.fr/pub/tex/win32-beta/
would be better.
(fp only has pdftex-0.14a-3).

Tobias

So you suggest I use those instead?

They will be there once thanh has them. The win32 zip will only contain
pdftex binaries (while thjose at fabrice's site contain the whole lot).
