I pick up that thread soon and install suse 6.2 (tobias: your copy just arrived). As taco already mentioned, the acrobat page cache is probably the troublemaker (and has been for many years now). Did you ever notice the slightly different backgrounds when anti aliasing anc cache are both on? (Show up well on tft screens under an angle). Unfortunately adobe is not impressed when you report such behaviour as a bug.
