works, but not independent of the settings in \setuplayout.
The origin of the page is (\backspace,0cm) i think.
\hskip15cm results in a distance of 18cm from the left edge of the paper.
Anyway, i can live with it. (at.sty of LaTeX makes (-1in,-1in) the origin of
the paper)
I know, my english is horrible.

Then you're using [text] and not [page]
\setupbackgrounds[page][....]
will really put things in relation to the top left corner, while for
instance [text][text] will use the text as ref point. \overlaywidth and
\overlayheight represent the current h/vsize.
The origin of the page is (0,0), but the origin of the text area which
is header+text+footer is (backspace,topspace).
