I do want to change it every chapter (that's o.k.), but I do also want to turn it off on the chapter page. How can I do it? By the way, how can I link some command (macro) to shipout? Can I simply use something like this: \let\orishipout=\shipout \def\shipout{\dosomethin\orishipout} or is \shipout redefined in the ConTeXt in a way that doesn't allow to use this simple hook securely? Many thanks for your answers Michal Kvasnicka -- Economics is the only field in which two people can get a Nobel Prize for saying exactly the opposite things.
