Good morning!

I'm absolutely pleased with ConTeXt with one excpetion: bottom is ragged

in my documents (for example, if a widdow or orphant is to occure, the
page is broken too early and the lower margin is not fit). The "whole"
is
not in integer*lineskip always, somethimes its small.

How can I fix it? I'd like to switch this feature off and (possibly) to
make
lineskip more stretchable.

Many thanks.

Well, I found that \normalbottom plainTeX command works well

(probably \raggedbottom is switched on in ConTeXt). But I do

have two more questions:

1) How can I make baselineskip stretcheable? I can set

\advance\baselineskip by 0pt plus 1pt manually, but it

is forgoten every time \setupinterlinespacing is used.

(BTW, in the english manual, \setuplinespacing name is

quoted instead of working \setupinterlinespacing).

2)If I set in \setuplayout page height to lines=some number,

the bottom is ragged anyway (with \normalbottom) -- there

is some space that doesn't fit to n*\baselineskip. Why is it

so? How can I fix it?

Many thanks,

Michal Kvasnicka

To a limited extend,

\setupalign[..]

  line
  bottom
  height

but some testing is done to prevent ugly stretching. I will add more
control when I update that module,

Hello everyone!

Is it possible NOT to have ragged bottom? So that all pages should be
aligned at bottom? (let's say vertical "justified" or vertical
streched)?
