Apart from strange splittings, I'd like to set an explaining text after the table. If the text is not within the buffer, it is set "somewhere". If it is before \stopbuffer it becomes splitted: It is an itemize, and after each item appears the caption of the table. Any ideas? Does it make sense to nest buffers? --- An other table problem: Some tables aren't set on the page, even if they had enough place. Therefore some tables that are defined one after the other appear in a mixed order. (All set with buffers.) Hraban.
