But perhaps I'm a bit further now: I've hacked texexec to copy mpgraph.mp to tmp.mp and tmp.mp is 0 bytes at that time (that explains the error). mpgraph.mp is ok when texexec finishes... Perhaps some close or flush doesn't work??? My perl version is: 5.005_03 Groetjes, Berend. (-:
