Subject: Stability of beta version?

Dear Mr. Hagen,
let me ask, please, how is the beta version of ConTeXt/TeXExec stable?
It seems it has some very interesting features, but I need my ConTeXt
to work (I'm writing my PhD. thesis and some articles now). Can I
upgrade to it or should I wait a little until it becomes frozen?
Many thanks.
