Hi,
after the discussion of the sharp s issue last week, I wrote a summery
about this topic and made some suggestions.
The section "Conclusions for ConTeXt"/"General" (p.3, bottom) should
also be of interest of others (at least for Dutch, Frensh, Italian and
those languages which I missed).

Am i right that you propose \sz to stay lowercase (when a string is
uppercased?

Actually, there is a switch in texutil that makes sure that ij can be
sorted under y -)

Kleiner Fehler: Das runde (kurze) s erscheint *nur* am Ende einer Silbe!
Das lange s ist (im Fraktursatz) der Standard.
Ferner:
Ich als Setzer würde "SZ" nur dann verwenden, wenn "SS" zu
Missverständnissen führte.
Little mistake: The short s must only be used at the end of a syllable.
Within gothic setting the long s is standard.
Further:
Me as a typesetter would use "SZ" only if "SS" would lead to misunderstanding.
