Hello, 
I'm preparing a screen presentation with s-pre-01 (which I modify and
change the name) and I still  have  some very basic questions (even after
looking at the manuals and the mailing list archive - though the
information is probably there):

 -  how to change the text font color ? I could change that of the Topics
list but not of the headers and text. I want a somewhat dark   background
so a black text doesn't fit. 

 -  is it possible to rotate a figure ?  In general, are the options of the
graphicx package supported ? (I think it is loaded, but I may be wrong)

 -  I tried the stepper function but can't have it work. At first I had an
error when opening the pdf file in Acrobat Reader (Error 14). I did the
trick Hans proposed in a old email. Now the error is gone when the file is
opened but the stepper still doesn't work. Is there something specific to
do besides the "texexec --mode=step" command ? 

I will probably have more questions soon, since I start to appreciate
ConTexT !!

ConTeXt is its own graphics package, it makes no sense to load LaTeX packs.

You may need:

\rotate[rotation=90]{\placefigure[parameters][reference]{caption}{\externalfigure[picture]}}

Please have a look at the documentation...
