Hi Hans,
After
\setupcaptions[width=28pc,align=none]
,captions that fit on a single line still become centered instead
of flush left. (the same is true for align=left or align=right).
I desperately need an easy way to fix that without touching the actual
content of \place<block>.

Oh, i cannot stand you being desparate, so in main-001 you can change
\else

There may be a few more cases, but i'll handle them when i isolate the
float macros.
