Subject: Bug in the output routine?
Date: Thu, 01 Mar 2001 13:21:23 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <3A9E3EC3.54C78452@econ.muni.cz> (raw)

Dear Mr. Hagen.

I found a strange bug in the ConTeXt while typing my PhD thesis --
in one place a page disappears. It is quite rare probably -- it happen
in my case just once, in following place:

One file with one chapter ended with \stopreferences[index][...].
Another file began, the command was \chapter[...]{...} and then
some text. If a formula (\placeformula) happened at the page break,
the whole page (maybe two pages, I'm not sure) disappeared.

If I shifted the formula lower (inserting some more text), everything
was O.K.

I can send you my files, but only the whole thesis (but allas, in Czech
language with Czech fonts and ENGLISH interface). I was not able to
prepare any minimal file because I have no idea where the bug can be.
But I can point you very well to the problematic place. All commands
are standard one in english.

Can you help me?

Many greatings,
Michal Kvasnicka

P.S. My ConTeXt is
ConTeXt ver: 2001.1.19 fmt: 2001.1.29 int: english mes: english,
TeXExec is
  TeXExec 2.5 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2001,
PDFTEX is
  This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-13d-2.1 (Web2C 7.3)
