Hi all,
I tried to compile my older document (compilable with previous beta)
using the latest ConTeXt and I got following messages in the second run:
------------------

I thing it might be related to the previously reported bug with
references as the 2001.7.2 version failed in the first run.
The document can be found at http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xantos/p126/document
(as Hans knows well, I'm sure :-))
Some pieces of my older stuff do very similar things.
All the best

Hans thanks for the solution you gave for my environment problem. Now I
have a new problem. I would like to use the Black board bold symbols of
AMS. I used
\setupbodyfont[ams]
in my environment file and typed
{\Bbb R}
in my document but rather then getting Bbb R a got a different symbol
(\gtreqless of AMS). I am using ConTeXt ver: 2001.7.2 under MikTeX.
What am I doing wrong?

You are not, I think. It may be coincidental (but probably isn't) that
\gtreqless occupies the same position in msam10 as R does in msbm10 :-)

impressive error cq. stupid bug -)
btw, the file compiles well with pdfetex, so again a tex/etex compatibility
issue; unwise saving of couple of tokens

Hey, I've used pdfeTeX! Have a look at the log file closely :-) Is there
a problem with older pdfeTeX version? (It's the one from TeXLive 5 CD,
I think many people use it.)

Great, should we all/I put it into cont-new.tex? Or is this `David's file
specific'?
Thanks for your answer

Is this a bug in ConTeXt (the \mathbb command works finw with LaTeX)?
Should I interchange all the msam with msbm in font-ams.tex? Thanks.

No (font-ams.tex is no longer in use, even!)
It's a bug allright, but it appears somewhere else. In font-siz.tex,
change the last part. It should read:
% start
\starttypescript [math] [ams] [size]
\definebodyfont [17.3pt,14.4pt,12pt,11pt,10pt,9pt] [mm]
[ma=msam10 sa 1,
mb=msbm10 sa 1]
% end
In the distrib, the second line also loads msam10
That's all. No need to regenerate the format.
Greetings, Taco

Thanks Taco. One small note: I do not have a font-siz.tex file (I am using
ConTeXt ver: 2001.7.2). But I did look around and found a file named
type-siz.tex. Making the changes you succested to this file solved my
problems. Thanks again.
Have fun.

hm, but do you run in etex mode? is the entry in the fmtutil file *'d? mayeb
texexec --make --alone en nl metafun
does a better job on your system [you may have to move the files by hand]

i'll upload a new version, so for the moment it can go into cont-new

see taco's mail;
if you install context, delete the old base dir; make sure that you keep
your local cont-sys.tex file;
teh latest version is now completely split up in modules and the new font
layer implements thinsg as typescripts, so many olf font-* files are gone.
This way we get no problems with user fonts [see font manual]
