Hello!
I think this question has been already on the list:
How can I reset the pagenumbering each chapter (or part). E.g. each chapter
should start the page numbering from 1? I am working on using ConTeXt as a
report generator for a database program (and is working wonderfully!) but I
want each ,,chapter`` to start with page nr. 1.

Untested:
\setuppagenumbering[way=bychapter]
>From texshow:
\setuppagenumbering
way=bytext|by*section,
