Subject: About umlauts and bookmarks
Date: Thu, 31 Jan 2002 19:08:35 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3C598823.C2459E20@ivs.tu-berlin.de> (raw)
Hi,
I am using the win encoding to be able to use "real" umlauts in my
german tex source files (ä instead of "a). However, any umlaut in a
bookmark will have a pair of curly brackets appended when I use this
encoding. E.g. I have a chapter named "Dienstgüte" which appears as
"Dienstgü{}te" in the bookmarks.
How can I avoid this and still be able to type ä instead of "a?
Grü{}ß{}e,
Klaus
