Hi All,

Still working on our proceedings...

The pagenumbering problems have been solved. Thanks for all input.

Now we have got our proceedings, but the resulting file is approx.
12Mb!!
Is it possible to force ConTeXt to automagically produce multiple pdf
files with each file containing one \part or \chapter of the document?
If so, is it possible to maintain 'clickability' from the table of
contents so parts of the file are only (down)loaded when required?

i admit that i should work on that -)

for the moment, the best thing is to do something (untested):

file : everything.tex

\startmode [all]
   \def\GetIt#1{\readfile{#1}{}{}}
\stopmode

\startnotmode[all]
   \def\GetIt#1{\message{skipping #1}}
\stopnotmode

\starttext

\title{All Parts} \placelist[part][criterium=text] \page

\GetIt{part1.tex}
\GetIt{part2.tex}

\stoptext

The files part1.tex etc contain the parts and can be processed
independently, and there you can set the numbers with

\setupheadnumber[part][1]  and alike

you can process everything with:

texexec --mode=all everything

as well as

texexec everything

Hans

[technically you can pick up the numbers from the main file, but i'm not
sure it it works well right now]
