Niet al te gemakkelijk antwoorden graag. Het is me wel eens
opgevallen dat de rode reus uit redmond zich weinig gelegen laat
liggen aan logica of wiskunde of systematiek maar daarentegen juist
erg goed is in marketing. Dus het opzetten van de facto standaarden
zou ik persoonlijk liever niet aan ze overlaten, terwijl HP en die
andere clubs op die punten wel aan mijn elementaire eisen voldoen of
deden.
Die foto is leuk maar wie is het. Nee niet jij. Jou herken ik wel,
maar de non?
Ik ben inmiddels aardig op streek in de "non-designers type book" dat
je me ooit aanbeval en dat ik Zaterdag kon ophalen. Is leuk. Veel
weetjes, veel definities en veel voorbeelden. Aardig op mijn niveau
(door de vele voorbeelden). Maar typografisch blaft en brult iedere
pagina je aan. Nooit eerder zo'n typografische schreeuw, gezien zou
ik bijna schrijven, gehoord. En dat terwijl een van de aanbevelingen
in het boek is het rustig te houden. Snap je weer beter hoe hoog de
kwaliteit van Siep's werk bijvoorbeeld ligt.
