Hi Nigel,
you can start the script as a parameter to ruby:
bash-2.05a$ ruby texsync.rb --update --force --destination=/tmp/textest
or you add a line to texsync.rb (has to be the first line) to tell your
unix which interpreter to run:
#!/usr/bin/ruby
then you can start it simply with:
bash-2.05a$ texsync.rb --update --force --destination=/tmp/textest
