Hello All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to have fillinrules with a
background color? It would be even better if I didn't have the rule,
just a gray background for example.

This is the effect I like to see:

  Name: [                   ]
  Address: [                ]
  [                         ]

Where [...] is a colored back ground.

Example:

\starttext
\fillinrules[n=1,width=broad]{Name}
\fillinrules[n=2,width=broad]{Address}
\stoptext

It's the first time I try to use urls inside pdf output. I searched the
mailing lists and found the following way:

\useURL[ref][url][??(local file, I think)][displaytext (in my case the
url itself)]
\from[ref] (will print displaytext & link to url)

My problem now is that the url is not hyphenated.... and since I
generate the doc from a database I have some really long ones

So, what can I do. Or, where can I find some doc about it??

Thanks, Mathias

I must admit I don't get it :-)

Using something like

\useURL[foo]{attachments/1013-Comato_Zugriffe.zip}
\goto{\url[attachments/1013-Comato_Zugriffe.zip]}[url(foo)]

I get

	! Missing $ inserted.

(ok, trying to switch to math mode. I understand that.)

Using

	\useURL[foo]{attachments/1013-Comato\_Zugriffe.zip}
	\goto{\url[attachments/1013-Comato\_Zugriffe.zip]}[url(foo)]

I get

	! Missing \endcsname inserted.

	                   \unhbox
	\leavevmode ->\unhbox
	                      \voidb@x
	\fakeunderscore ->\leavevmode
	                              \hbox {\setbox \scratchbox \hbox
{(}\scratchdi...

	\_...fmmode \mathunderscore \else \textunderscore
	                                                  \fi
	<argument> \v!file :::attachments/1013-Comato\_
	                                               Zugriffe.zip
	\getvalue #1->\csname #1
	                        \endcsname
	...
	l.23  \NC \NR\stoptabulate

Which I don't understand...

How can I use url's with underscores?? I looked, but I couldn't find
anything useful with google.

Thanks for any help,

Mathias

Try this:
  \useURL[foo][attachments/1013-Comato_Zugriffe.zip]
  \goto{\url[foo]}[url(foo)]

Thanks! (The point were actually the curly braces... :-(
I generate the stuff from a db, and at one single type of urls I
mistyped even if I knew better - and I didn't catch it in the last 5
hours - until your mail made me see it. So: THANKS!!!)

Hopefully my last questions about context and pdf and urls....

a) I get url targets with buildextacc.... if I use urls with german
umlauts and \useencoding[win].... Any idea how to get german umlauts if
the file is iso8859-15 and still get usefull links?

b) when following links in the pdf I would like to open the documents in
another window. My users view the pdf through a browser, and the pdf has
links to many file types which I want to open in new browser windows, so
the context of the main pdf file is not lost. Any way to do this??

Thanks a lot!

Mathias

\useURL[foo][mystrange  filename.doc]\goto{\url[foo]}[url(foo)]

leads to

4844 0 obj
<</S /URI /URI (mystrange filename.doc)>>
endobj

replacing the double blank with a single one. Obviously the file / url
is not found....

Any hints why/where this is done?

Thanks, Mathias

it's tex: any sequence of spaces becomes one space unless the catcode is
kin dof special

you may try:

   \useURL[foo][mystrange\space\space filename.doc]\goto{\url[foo]}[url(foo)]

Because it doesnt work.... :-)

I figured this usage out from the context source and the mailing list ,
but it does not do what I want... (I use the latest beta of context)

There is code there to insert NewWindow true in the pdf, only I don't
seem to really understand the options

The code snippet which led me to my belief is from core-nav.tex:

\def\dodosetupinteraction[#1]% % \dosetupinteraction == special
....
    \doifelse\@@iascherm\v!nieuw
      \gotonewwindowtrue
      \gotonewwindowfalse

which, in my understanding, should translate to
\setupinteraction[display=new] to set \gotonewwindowtrue ....

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help,

Mathias

ok ok, i looked and saw :-)

I added

\ifgotonewwindow\space/NewWindow true \fi}

to the uri output and now most is well. It was set for /F output only....

Now I have a question about acrobat: it seems the /NewWindow true is
only honored if acrobat is running standalone. If I call the pdf from a
browser it does not work. Maybe thats why it was only implemented for
file references??

Can it be made to work for the plugin? If so, how? Where could I look &
ask, I searched through google and found nothing....

Thanks, Mathias

\useURL[foo][1010-pg200308036d_1087409[1].pdf]\goto{\url[foo]}[file(foo)]
					^^^^^

leads to <</S /URI /URI (1010-pg200308036d_1087409[1) /NewWindow true >>
						    ^^

Note the missing ].pdf

Any idea why/where this happens or how I could protect the file name?

Thanks, Mathias

it also differs per os: a real new window or a window inside the main
window i.e. covering the old one

it's also influenced by settings the preferences (open ... in new window)
